Formula Actoracer
Based on our proven solid and customizable x-TRON platform, after more than a year of planning, designing and programming, Formula AR is born – the ultimate formula simulator!
By completely redesigning our motion system, we have succeeded in decelerating the formula chassis in which the driver is located with a force of up to 600 kg. During measurements, the belt presses the test object into the seat with the equivalent of almost 6G.
Our motion software has been specially adapted and modified for this system, resulting in a completely new motion concept that we can continue to build on in the future.
We simulate our familiar movements in Formula AR: Acceleration, lateral forces or bumps in the road and the condition, but especially deceleration. 7 in-house STL actuators are used, including traction loss for the rear axle.
Our Formula chassis and x-TRON platform are freely configurable as usual. The design and appearance can be completely customized.
Lots of formula with ACTORACER
The Formula AR was born from the idea of specifically supporting the world’s formula classes. The focus was entirely on the driver position. From our “GT sitting” position, we had to rethink the “Formula lying” position, which required considerable changes and specially developed components.
It was also important to us to take the immersive feeling to a new level: Virtual reality with the latest technology, an aggressively agile and also respectful motion combination – a feeling like the real thing!

STL’s usual quality also applies to the production of the latest driving simulators and racing simulators. Drawn, measured, lasered and welded on the computer with 3D applications. From the saddler to the coachbuilder to the wrapper – everything is carried out in-house, here at the headquarters in Windeck, with great attention to detail.
