A few words
The ACTORACER® driving school simulator
Our driving school simulator not only allows learner drivers to drive practice routes, but also conveys an almost real driving experience via actuators.
The advantages of the ACTORACER driving simulator.
The ACTORACER has an enormous advantage over other driving school simulators. The ADAC writes the following in its assessment of driving simulators in driving schools:
“Neither centrifugal forces nor vibrations affect the driving experience. The learner driver does not develop a feeling for the speed.”
The ACTORACER “drives” with highly sensitive and fast-reacting actuators that perfectly simulate acceleration, deceleration and centrifugal forces.
Test drives in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
ACTORACER driving simulators can be tested at our headquarters in Windeck at any time by appointment. There are also many SimRace centers in Germany, which we are happy to put you in touch with.

The ACTROACER driving school simulator
Why a driving simulator for driving schools?
Of course, no driving simulator can replace a “real driving lesson”. Nevertheless, there are many advantages for learner drivers, because a driving simulator for driving schools is an excellent way to practise operating the pedals and gearshift (either automatic or manual). Uncertainty when operating a vehicle and the quite complex procedures involved in a real driving lesson are practiced on a driving simulator until a certain routine for real road traffic is established.
This speaks for the use of a driving simulator in the driving school
- For people who feel insecure, a driving simulator can actually help them overcome their fear of their first driving lesson.
- With a simulator that, like the ACTORACER, has an authentic pedal set, you can train your driving motor skills without consuming fuel. This protects the environment.
- Certain procedures can be practiced on the simulator until they are fully internalized. For example, anyone who has difficulty turning, starting or reversing into a parking space can practise this stress-free.
- Special situations, such as an ambulance approaching from behind with flashing blue lights or extreme weather conditions such as ice, snow and rain, can also be realistically simulated.
- As no accidents can happen, the learner driver will be much more relaxed when completing their first driving exercises.
- The driving instructor can intervene immediately after an operating error or driving mistake and stop the simulator to discuss the situation with the learner driver in peace – this is not possible in a real vehicle and such situations put a learner driver under enormous pressure and stress in a real vehicle.
