The ACTORACER¬ģ HOME is the original simulator that we developed and built in 2013.

After we had tested many aluminum constructions in advance, we decided to develop a hand-made, high-strength tubular steel frame due to the lack of stability. One thing was decisive for us during development – we wanted to allow the monitors to swivel together with the driver when lateral forces occurred on the axis of the traction loss.

The field of view from the vehicle

To improve the field of vision, a solution with three monitors was used so that the driver can immerse himself even better. Because the entire driver’s unit, including the monitors, is moved as a unit when subjected to lateral forces, this corresponds to the natural feeling of a vehicle with a rear breakout. In our opinion, this point makes a difference between the ACTORACER¬ģ and other motion simulators that work with fixed monitor positions. We focused our requirements on a simulator above all on longevity, the simulator had to be as low-maintenance and expandable as possible and, right from the start, we made sure that our product was CE certified. Only then is it possible for our interested parties to use our products commercially.


The actuators now installed in the ACTORACER¬ģ HOME, as well as the motion unit used for control, correspond to the latest status of the STL product line and impress again and again due to the field of view of the three 43″ HD monitors. “Right in the middle instead of just being there” is the motto here. In addition to a seat mover with traction loss, a 6-point belt is installed in the ACTORACER¬ģ HOME. The fastening of the belt is designed in such a way that the driver can feel an additional impulse directly on the body when shifting gears or braking, for example by tightening the belt. As in a real braking process, the initial impulse will be stronger and then subside.

Braking close to reality

In the simulator, we want to convey the feeling of real braking, where in reality the first braking intervention takes place with high pressure and when ‚Äúbraking into the curve‚ÄĚ, the braking pressure decreases until the acceleration phase.

* The seat is moved according to the centrifugal forces that occur. Switching and braking processes as well as bumps are also shown.
** The seat unit is moved synchronously to oversteer the vehicle. The driver, the monitor and the pedals are moved on the steel chassis.
